@matthew_west made the ultimate dad joke corrigendum this weekend… accept a thought, forget to read the room, tell the "joke", no one laughs, tell it once again. Except in this example the cues he missed included rape culture, toxic purity and sexism. It's a bad expect. #ModestIsHottest

Gross. Maybe instead of putting them in turtlenecks and sensible slacks, teach them that their bodies aren't sinful, how to notice predatory beliefs & how to throw a mean dial. Sincerely, a adult female who was sexually assaulted in a cute sweater and jeans.

List of men allowed to tell me how to experience almost purity civilization or the Modest is Hottest video. Listing of men immune to tell me how to dress. List of men who know more about my lived experience than I do. Listing of men in charge of my spiritual life or theology @matthew_west flick.twitter.com/kkOkRRKpc8

Equally a dad raising daughters, this vocal is my ridiculously silly fashion of reminding them that their appearance doesn't ascertain them. While the world might focus on the outward appearance, the Lord looks at the heart. Regardless, they are beautiful within and out! (Even in turtlenecks)
